Rebel Wilson Takes A Lead Role In Upcoming 2019 Film ‘Isn’t It Romantic?’

Romance comedy film lovers looking forward to what 2019 has to offer should add one particular film to their short list. The film is “Isn’t it Romantic,” a film starring both Australian and American casts that has quite a plot and a heartwarming story. The star of the film is Rebel Wilson, and along with her are Liam Hemsworth, Adam Devine and Priyanka Chopra.

Wilson plays the character of Natalie, a female architect who wants to be the lead designer on new buildings but is often finding herself being relegated to meaningless tasks for her coworkers. One of her pet peeves is she despises romance comedy flicks, yet little does she know she is about to enter a universe where she becomes the lead in that kind of movie.

It’s world where she is in the middle of a love triangle and has to make the hard choices to find her way out. Fittingly enough, the movie happens to be coming out on Valentine’s Day of 2019. The first major Hollywood movie she took a minor role in was “Bridesmaids” in 2011. Up until now, her other most visible role has been in the “Pitch Perfect” series, but with the release of “The Hustle” in 2018 and now “Isn’t it Romantic,” Wilson has started taking more of the spotlight with other celebrities.

Interestingly enough, though Rebel Wilson is not a lawyer by career, she did recently use her knowledge of Australian law to win a major defamation lawsuit against a big media corporation. This may also be unsurprising to those who know her as a very bold woman who tell it like it is.

Rebel likes to think of herself as a champion of women’s rights, though for her she says she’s never really had too many issues securing valuable contracts. When she isn’t busy on set or preparing for her next production, Rebel Wilson is usually out looking at different real estate properties, and sometimes even has invested in them and flipped them. She also is involved in philanthropy sponsoring the St. Jude’s School in Africa and supporting similar causes as former First Lady Michelle Obama.
